Audi Partners Up with Global Bioenergies for a Greener Future

When
you think of the Audi brand, words like sporty,
powerful, and luxury come to mind. The premium German brand would like for
green to be on that list, too. The high-end automaker has teamed up with
Global Bioenergies, and biotech company, to develop Audi e-gas and e-diesel
projects as a part of the company's ongoing efforts to find a sustainable
alternative fuel to power its vehicles.
This
is a huge step forward for the company, as Reiner Mangold, Head of Sustainable
Product Development at AUDI AG, explains, "We're taking another step
closer to carbon-neutral mobility with our partners at Global Bioenergies. We
are supporting an innovative technology here which can be used to produce
renewable fuel."1
The
brand already has an impressive lineup of impressive powertrains, and overall,
its models have more than 146 engine and transmission options that have low
carbon dioxide emissions.
Here
at Faraz Auto Sales in Toronto, ON, we
can't wait to see what this means for the future of one of our favorite
brands. We know that our customers are
conscious of their carbon footprints, but we also know that you don't want to
sacrifice performance or style to drive a greener vehicle. This progress should make this problem obsolete,
and we invite you to stay tuned to our industry blog to stay up to date on
eco-conscious automotive news.
If
you already have your eye on one of the clean cars that we have for sale in our
